Here Judy and Sara work on assembling their flower balls. Hi girls! (Sara wasn't thrilled about having her picture taken.)
Here is a close-up of half of my assembled flower ball. I used the Poppy Parade DSP from the 2010-2012 In Color Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack. The centers are corduroy brads that Stampin' Up! had in the past. (Sorry, they're retired now.) I needed something large to cover the center because not all of my flower centers were even close to the same size. Can you imagine that?
And here is my completed project! (It looks better from a little farther away...)This is Sara's - she used the Flirtatious Specialty Designer Series Paper for her kusudama flower ball.
And here is Judy's. Her DSP is a pattern that Stampin' Up! had a few years ago (again, retired).
Both Sara and Judy said they needed to put something in the center of their flowers to finish the project, but they were going to do that at home.
So what do you think? Now that we've all completed one, we were all thinking that it would be really fun to make one with some Christmas DSP. Maybe the Holly Berry Bouquet DSP in the 2011 Holiday Mini Catalog? I'll bet the Mocha Morning Specialty DSP in the Idea Book & Catalog would make an elegant-looking flower ball. Well, if and when I do get around to making another one, you can be sure I'll show it to you!
Until next time...

Hi Jayne! These are great!!! Thanks so much for letting me know you made these. So glad my tutorial was helpful -- I appreciate your sweet thanks! I agree the Holly Berry or Mocha Morning would be great to try. Look forward to seeing what you make next!
