Friday night was our regular Chalk-a-holics meeting. We've actually had to miss a few because of conflicts so it was really good to get back together again and do some stamping! As always, besides the projects, we had wonderful snacks. Yum! 
We had a great time making these projects. A lot of them used items that are in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I LOVE the Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper in there and I'm going to be so sad when it's gone!
(Okay, maybe not THAT much, but I"ll still miss it!)
The idea for the first card came from a sample that I saw at my friend Debra's house. I don't know the original creator. It uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set and Blossom Punch (along with the Sale-a-bration DSP and coordinating Everyday Enchantment Brads). The greeting is from the Elementary Elegance SAB stamp set. What is so cool about this card is the use of the Lattice Bigz Die. It is cut out from the Crumb Cake cardstock, removed and sponged the outside edges of it, and then placed back in the same spot. That sponging just makes it pop off the page and it has an almost 3-D look to it!
The next card uses the Sprinkled Expressions SAB stamp set. I got this idea from a card I received from Debra Currier. I loved how she used the Designer Frames TIEF over the image. And if you look closely, you can see that the flower image is "rock 'n' rolled".
The Kindness Matters stamp set is one of the regular sets in the catalog that you can choose as a free Sale-a-bration item with a $50 merchandise purchase. I fell in love with this set the first time I saw it! It's so elegant. The images are stamped in Black StazOn ink and then watercolored with Blender Pens and two colors of ink - Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake. The striped paper in the background comes from the Mocha Morning Specialty DSP. This paper is GORGEOUS and even prettier in real life! The picture doesn't do it justice.
Our last project was a box. The original pattern I had called it a Top Note Mini Box, but I decided to try to make mine with the Labels Collection Framelits Die. While I managed to make it work, if you want to try this, I would highly suggest that you use a very thin piece of cardboard for the top and bottom pieces. Mine was a little too thick and the framelit just couldn't cut all the way through it. Here is my completed box:
And the top decoration, which was made with the Designer Rosette Bigz XL Die (Occasions Mini Catalog) but cut much skinnier.
And here is a picture with the top slightly off. This would be such a wonderful little box to tuck some treats for someone special, or in my case to just put on my desk and enjoy!

I wish that I had gotten a picture of some of the other boxes that the other ladies made, but they left before I thought of it. They were all so cute and even though we all used the same DSP package, every one looked different because of the paper they chose.
