Cards and More Gift Baskets

I had a blast this past weekend!  I was at the "Creative Escape" put on by Ronda Wade and her minions (especially Tamie!)  We had such a fun time stamping, laughing, getting inspired by other people's projects, eating, and just generally having a good time.  It was very relaxed - everyone brought their own projects to work on.  We had stampers, scrapbookers, quilters (I heard the "whirr" of sewing machines a lot!), and lots of other ladies working on their hobbies.

I roomed with my friend and downline Sara and my new friend Michelle L (hi Michelle!) and we exchanged roommate gifts.  (Fun!)  I had a tutorial from Inkspirations4U for these adorable baskets and made them for my roomies (and one for me, of course!).

The one on the left is made with Tempting Turquoise and Tangerine Tango.  The one on the right is made with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight.  We needed the bright spring-like colors because the weather certainly didn't feel very spring-like!

Here's a view from the top.  The middle of the basket is really quite large - you can fit a lot of candy in there.  (I know because I filled their baskets 'til they were overflowing!)

Each pocket on the sides holds 3x3" cards.  I made four cards for each basket.

I made a basket for myself, but I left it at home.  I had enough stuff to bring with me as it was and I didn't want to smash it.  (I was v-e-r-y careful with the other two baskets.)
I used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant on this basket.

Basket with all four cards.

These were SO much fun to make!  And I think that pretty much everyone who walked by our tables stopped to admire the baskets and wanted to know who made them.  From Millan.Net  I wish I could take credit for the design, but that goes to Madeline Morcelo.  She's so creative!

ADDED:  For all of you who have requested the instructions for this basket, you can contact the lady who created it, Madeline Morcelo, at madelinelagata@aol.com. It is called the "Cards and More Gift Basket".

Until next time...
HAPPY STAMPING!
