Friday night we had our monthly Chalk-a-holics meeting.  Fun, friends, food, and stamping - what could be better?  (There WAS chocolate, of course!)

These are the card projects that we made.  All of them were CASEd (hey, why re-invent the wheel?)
I received a card similar to this when I was swapping at Leadership.  The top piece is Glossy card stock that was embossed with the Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  It looks SO COOL!  If you have some Glossy card stock in your stash, dig it out and try running it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder.  I think you'll really love the result!
OTHER SUPPLIES:   Collage Curios, Basic Gray card stock and ink, Calypso Coral ink, card stock, and ribbon, Paper Doilies, 1" Circle, 1-1/4" Circle, and 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punches.

I love this card!  I've used the Just Thinking stamp for quite a few things, but they usually had a more masculine feel.  When I saw this card, I knew we needed to make one.
OTHER SUPPLIESTea for Two and Comfort Cafe DSP, Soft Suede ink, card stock, and taffeta ribbon, Very Vanilla card stock, VersaMark pad, clear emboss powder, Antique Brads, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Window Frames Collection Framelits die, Square Lattice TIEF, sponges.

This card is called a "Joy Fold Card".  I've seen these around, but hadn't made one yet.  They are fun and easy to make.  The top layer is tucked behind the "Create" saying to help keep it closed.

Here's the card with the top layer opened.

And this is what it looks like entirely opened.
SUPPLIESCreative Elements, Chocolate Chip ink and card stock, Pink Pirouette ink, card stock, and Taffeta Ribbon, First Edition Specialty DSP, Subtles Designer Series Paper Stack, Large Oval and Scallop Oval Punches, Basic Pearls.

Hope you've enjoyed a peek at what we made at the meeting.  Of course, it's hard to show you all of the laughter and fun that we had, but if you'd like to find out how much fun it is to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, contact me and we'll talk!

Until next time...
