Chalk-a-Holics Meeting

We had a Chalk-a-Holics meeting last Thursday and had so much fun! Webster even made himself quite comfortable during the meeting. Thanks for "loaning" your bag, Sara! Smiley from millan.netThis meeting was a little different than our regular ones. Those of us who went to Convention brought all of our swaps from Convention and then we all looked through the cards and 3-D items at our leisure and took pictures. So much creativity!

We did have a couple of Make-n-Take projects. One of the ladies had a request to learn how to make the pansies from the butterfly punch, so I had a station set up for that. This is the card we created. The original idea/layout came from someone else, but I can't recall where I saw it.

This card idea came from Diane Kipp who said she saw it somewhere on-line too. Diane had made this card at a recent card class she had and was gracious enough to share the details and measurements with me. It's a cute little slide-out type card - and I just love those owls and their goofy eyes!Diane also brought some other things to share that she's been working on lately. I'll post those tomorrow and I'll also post the cards that the other gals made and swapped soon. It's so much fun to get together and share our passion with one another!
