Since there are only about 24 hours left to order any of the stamps from Stampin' Up!s retiring list, I thought I would share a bunch of samples with you.
The first one uses the Fresh Cuts stamp set. I already showed you some samples with this set the other day, but I came across this one which is one of my favorites with this set, so I decided to share it with you.

Dreams du Jour are Priceless
For today's post, I have some cards that are Priceless. They are made using the Priceless stamp set that will be retiring in TWO DAYS! As you can see below, this is another very versatile stamp set that can be used in so many ways. I love the look of all these images, but I think my favorite are the "swirls".
Priceless: item #115052, set of 11, wood mount, $28.95.
I also have some dreamy cards for you. Well, cards made with Dreams du Jour. This is a sweet little set of four stamps that are so pretty!
Dreams du Jour: item #111624, set of 4, wood mount, $18.95
Remember, you only have until June 30th (Thursday!) to order any of the retiring stamp sets. You can place your order by going to my demonstrator web site HERE or feel free to e-mail or call me and I can place your order for you.
Until next time...

How about a Simple Birthday Thanks or Animal Stories?
I'm back with some more samples of retiring stamp sets. This is THE LAST WEEK you have to order any of the items on the retiring list. After June 30th, they will no longer be available.
Cupcakes have been a big thing for quite a few years now. This adorable stamp is actually designed as an easy way for young kids to write a thank you note. But the creator of this card stamped the images, cut them out, and layered them onto the card. I love how the cherry glistens - that's because of the Crystal Effects used on it.
You can see Simple Birthday Thanks on page 142 of the current Idea Book & Catalog. The item number is 111546, wood mount, $17.95.
Animal Stories is an adorable four-piece stamp set. This is such a great set to have when you want to stamp cards for kids or babies (they look adorable in soft colors!) or add some images to a scrapbook page. I especially love the giraffe.
Animal Stories is on page 94 of the current IB&C. The item number is 116716, wood mount, for $15.95.
I'll be back soon with more samples! Until then...

Blossom Party Big Shot Die Basket Fold Card
Wow - is that title descriptive enough for you? This is the final card that I made with Judy and Becky the other day. I saw this card quite awhile ago on another lady's blog and I have been wanting to make one for a long time.
The fold on the card is called a "basket fold". This was a fold that I used to do on cards back during the first few years I was a demonstrator. This is definitely a "punched up" version!
Here is the card closed. Isn't it pretty? It looks like a bouquet of beautiful flowers!
Here is the card with the insert removed. The triangle fold on the card also lifts up if you want more room for a greeting.
It is made with the Blossom Party Originals Die, Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Whisper White, Rose Red, and Old Olive cardstock, Subtles Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack, crimper, oval punches, and sponge daubers.
We were all so excited to make this card! Now that I've done one, I want to make some more! Thank you so much to whoever it was who designed the original card. It's even prettier in real life than the pictures show!
I had to show you Webster. While we were in my stamp room cutting things out on the Big Shot, he came walking in and stepped right up into the drawer, before letting out a sort of pathetic "meow". I guess he was letting us know that we hadn't been paying enough attention to him or something. What a cat...

2011 Summer Mini Catalog Samples
How about some samples using current products? Yesterday a couple of friends came over for a stamping day. We had a lot of fun creating these cards - all were CASE-d from cards I'd seen on various blogs.
This first one uses the Flower Garden Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on page 24 of the Summer Mini Catalog. I ran some Perfect Plum DSP through the Big Shot with this embossing folder, taped it to the Whisper White cardstock, and then lightly sanded over the top of the image. This works great with our DSP, but you won't get the same effect with our cardstock because the color goes all the way through our cardstock. (I learned that the hard way!)
This card was originally created by Deb Currier, who is in my Upscale Swap Group. It uses the Strength & Hope stamp set on page 27 of the mini catalog. For every purchase of this stamp set or the Strength & Hope Digital Kit, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This is a beautiful stamp set and purchasing it will benefit a worthy cause.
We made one more card that I'll show to you another time. (I'm just a tease, aren't I?)
