Collage Frame with Six Openings

On Saturday I got together with a few of my stamping friends to create collage frames.  The idea came from a meeting at my upline's where they had a "gift exchange".  One of the things that was brought was this adorable project:
The picture was taken with a cell phone, so it may not be really clear, but I think you can see it okay.

Since I had just completed my Valentine's insert for my 8x8" shadowbox frame, I wanted to make something different.  This is what I came up with:
I was really pleased with how it turned out!  I used the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper on my frame.  I have some close-up pictures of each section:

The flower is made from the Paper Daisies in the catalog.  I sponged them with Riding Hood Red ink to add the color.  The "spots" on the right are the In Color Dahlias.

This is the Elegant Bird Bigz Die.  After I cut the bird out, I ran it through the Perfect Polka Dots TIEF.  The wide gray at the top is the 1-1/4" Two-Tone Ribbon (Basic Gray/Basic Black) found in the Spring Catalog.

The doily on this section comes from the Artisan Embellishments Kit in the Spring Catalog.  I also used a Designer Builder Brad from the Spring Catalog, Delicate Designs Folders, Large Scallop Edgelits at the top, Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die, and Fancy Fan Folder.

The flower "bouquet" is from the Artisan Embellishments Kit.  I had used a few of the flowers on my shadowbox frame, and this was what I had left.  The "dream" comes from Loving Thoughts.

The main image is from Apothecary Art, cut out with the Labels Collection Framelits Dies, and then watercolored with Blender Pens.  I used the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch for the middle strip.

Some more elements from the Artisan Embellishments Kit were used on this section.  The butterflies were punched using the Elegant Butterfly punch and each one was embellished with a different textured impressions embossing folder and Basic Pearls.  I also used a Vintage Faceted Designer Button at the top for a little soft bling.

I love stamping with friends!  We all had a great time creating our frames.  Actually the hardest thing for me was deciding where I was going to hang it in our house!  From Millan.Net

I hope you've been inspired by this frame.  Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Until next time...
