I'm back from Convention!!  (Now known by the name of Inspire.Create.Share.)  It's taken me a bit to recover, but I think I have my land legs back - and my brain seems to be functioning regularly (not normal, because I don't do "normal"!)

Today I'm showing you the gifts that I made for my roommates.  They are all pretty much the same except for the Designer Series Paper that I used.  And I picked a perfect time to use our DSP, since this month is Stampin' Up!'s special buy 3, get 1 FREE promotion!  Everyone got the same thing - a notebook, a bag tag/charm, and a Full Wood-Mount Stamp Case decorated with DSP and filled with goodies like gum, mints, tissues, Smarties, etc.  You know, the things that you might need when you're in a large convention hall and don't have access to what you regularly would.  I also included chocolate-covered sunflower seeds.  When I bought them, I thought they would fit in the box, but the containers were just about 3/4" of an inch too tall.  So I just included them separately.

The first one was for Sara.  I used the Sweet Taffy DSP for her box. Breast Cancer Awareness is very near and dear to Sara's heart since her grandmother passed away from it, so when I saw the little charm, I knew hers would be pink.

The next one was for Yvette.  She loves purple, so even though I used the Sweet Taffy DSP again, I featured the Rich Razzleberry color.  Looks totally different, doesn't it?  Her charm is a little purple purse.

This was my gift for our other roommate - Sarah.  We met her for the first time at this Convention.  That's how friendships are born in the world of Stampin' Up!  We had a blast!  I used the Confetti Celebration DSP for hers.  Since I hadn't met Sarah before Convention, I chose a small flower charm that I put on her bag tag.

And last of all is the one I made for myself.  I used the Gold Soiree Specialty DSP on my box.  I found a little piano key charm that I used on my bag tag. This picture also shows the chocolate-covered sesame seeds.
I love making gifts for my roommates!  It's always so much fun to see their expressions when they open them!  Hope you've enjoyed this little peek. Until next time...
 HAPPY STAMPING!
