Bunnies, and Baskets, and Treats, Oh My!

Today's projects make me think of spring and Easter - and of course, chocolate!  I have an adorable flower basket and a cute bunny bag that can be filled with treats.

 

The basket was created by my friend, Michelle Forrest, for a recent club project.  The base is the Berry Basket Bigz L Die from the Occasions Catalog.  The flowers are from Petite Petals, Mixed Bunch, and Flower Shop.  She also used the From the Garden stamp set and Handpicked Framelits Dies (which work great with the Magnetic Platform!). 

This is the actual basket Michelle made.  She gave it to me... wasn't that sweet? 

 

The idea for these adorable little bunny bags came from SplitcoastStampers.  One of the ladies at my stamp club asked if we could make them.  At first I thought they would be too difficult, but after making one, I realized they were fairly easy.  And as a bonus, the bunny head slips off, so the recipient can get to the goodies inside without messing up the bunny.

I hope you and your loved ones have a blessed Easter - and remember the REAL reason that we celebrate Easter.  It's not about bunnies, chicks, baskets, and candy, but about the fact that Christ died and rose again.  Hallelujah!
