Recently I've been making some screen cards and everyone who has seen them seems to want to know how to make them. They're really quite easy, once you have the measurements. Here's a sample of the first one I made:
And in another color...
SUPPLIES:
Stamps: Everything Eleanor, Petite Petals, Petite Pairs
Punches: Decorative Label, Petite Petals, Large Oval, Scallop Oval, Bitty Butterfly, (Eyelet Border Punch - retired)
SCREEN CARD INSTRUCTIONS:
·
Cut
cardstock 11” x 5-1/2” (or 5-3/4” if you’re using a punch at the top that cuts
some off).
·
Score
on the long edge at 2-3/4”, 5-1/2”, and 8-1/4”.
·
Punch
across the top with a decorative punch. (I used the Hearts Border Punch on this card.)
·
Using
the Decorative Label Punch, insert halfway up on the bottom of your cardstock
and punch. Punch one layer at a time, lining up the previously punched panel with the next one to make sure they are even.
·
Cut
four back panels at 4-1/4” by 2-1/2” (adjusting size as needed).
·
Cut
four Whisper White panels at 4-1/8” by 2-3/8”.
·
Decorate/stamp
white panels as desired.
·
Layer
onto back panels.
·
Layer
onto screen card with strong adhesive like Fast Fuse.
I used the Sheltering Tree stamp to make this card. I think that's my favorite stamp set right now!
Until next time...
HAPPY STAMPING!
