Watercolor Wings and Half Circle Pop-Up Card

Smiley from Millan.Net
The new Watercolor Wings stamp set is so pretty and so much fun to use!  There are two sizes of butterflies with up to three layers each.  But you don't have to use all three layers, so there are multiple ways you can stamp the images.  And there are also coordinating Framelits to make cutting them out simple.  Both the Bold Butterfly Framelits and the Butterflies Thinlits coordinate with this set.

These cards are what I made for our July Upscale Swap.  I made a variety of colors - but I still can't pick a favorite.  I love them all!
This card uses Delightful Dijon and So Saffron.

This is Lost Lagoon and Mint Macaron.

The colors on this one are Watermelon Wonder and Blushing Bride.

But it's not only the outside of the cards that looks great - there's a surprise inside!  I saw a wonderful tutorial from Julie Davison on her "Half Circle Pop-Up Card".  So I decided to make my card like hers.  So much fun - and what a great surprise for the recipient when they open this card!
Soft Suede and Tip Top Taupe were used on this card.

And here's the inside...

And here is the butterfly suspended in the center.  Sorry for the blurry photo.  No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't get a clear picture of this angle.
