Three Club Projects

I love stamping with my club ladies.  It's so much fun to get together to stamp, laugh, and have a good time.

The first card we made was with the Regarding Dahlias stamp set.  The large dahlia was stamped in VersaMark ink and embossed with white powder.  I found out at Convention that the "Polaroid look" is really hot right now.  For those of you not old enough to know what a Polaroid is, you can Google it.  Ha!

I CASEd this card layout from another demonstrator, but I can't remember who it was.  If you recognize it and know who it is (or if it's you), please let me know so I can give you proper credit!

I love this next card.  It involves sponging, which I love!  (Just ask any of my stamping friends and they'll tell you.)
To get this cool effect, you start with plain Whisper White card stock.  Stamp the trees from Serene Silhouettes multiple times in black (I used black StazOn ink.)  Punch a circle from a Post-It Note and place it where you want your moon to be.  Then sponge your colors over the rest of the white card stock.  We used Perfect Plum, Tempting Turquoise, and Elegant Eggplant.

TIP:  Always start with your lightest color first, moving to the darker colors.  And remember you can always go back and add more color, but you can't remove it.  When you're done sponging, remove the circle.  Voila!

This is the same card, but I sponged a little lighter on this one.  See the difference?

The last card was made with the Chalk Talk stamp set.  The background is designer series paper from the Brights Color Collection Stack.  We also used the coordinating Chalk Talk Framelits.
So there you have it - our projects from our last get-together.  We had fun making them.  I hope you've enjoyed seeing them!

Until next time...
HAPPY STAMPING!
