Pennant Parade Card

This card was one that I made for our August Upscale Swap group. I was the swap "hostess" this month, so I had the privilege of receiving all the cards (and seeing them first!), sorting them, and then sending them back out to everyone. Getting that envelope in the mail is a bit like getting a birthday gift! You can't wait to open it because you know there's going to be something inside that you'll really enjoy. Smiley from millan.net After the ladies have received their cards in the mail, I'll be able to show you some of the wonderful cards they made! But in the meantime, here is the card I made:
SUPPLIES LIST:
Stamps: Pennant Parade, Happiest Birthday Wishes
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango, Whisper White
Inks: Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso, Tangerine Tango
Punches: Petite Pennants Builder Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack
Other Accessories: Beyond the Garden DSP, Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die, Early Espresso/White Baker's Twine, Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals.

Oh, and I thought you might like to meet my other kitty. This is Snickers. He's about 12 years old and has to put up with Webster's antics. He's a more quiet cat, so I don't often talk about him, but he's another of my "babies".
It's starting to feel like fall - meaning the weather has finally cooled down from the 80s and 90s. What a relief! But I guess that also means that we probably won't be doing much swimming from now on. Oh well, I guess everything is a bit of a trade-off.

I hope you have a safe and happy Labor Day! Until next time...
