Betsy's Blossoms

As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, we have so many perks and benefits.  Not the least of them is being able to order from the new catalogs a month before anyone else.  (It's nice being the first to play with new stuff!)

This stamp set I'm featuring today was one of the preorders from the new 2012-2013 Idea Book & Catalog.  It's called Betsy's Blossoms.  It's such a fun and happy set to work with!

This card was one we made at a recent workshop.  It uses Melon Mambo, Midnight Muse, and Lucky Limeade inks.  The ribbon across the top is Melon Mambo 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon - such fun ribbon to use!  The words are from Curly Cute - another one of my favorites.  Actually, I think my favorites are what I'm using at any given time!

This card was one that Diane Kipp made.  The paper is the Floral District Designer Series Paper, which makes up most of the background.  The bird is stamped with Rich Razzleberry as is the Congratulations from Itty Bitty Banners which is cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits.  The finishing touch is the button from the Brights Designer Buttons.  Cuteness!

So if your thumb isn't very green (like mine), you can always count on stamping a beautiful flower using a Stampin' Up! stamp set.  It will always be bright and colorful and will never wilt!  (Which is more than what I can say for my flowers this year!)

Until next time...
