One Sheet Wonder Purse

As you may know, I just love making unique items from card stock.  I found this wonderful tutorial on how to make a purse from one sheet of 12" x 12" card stock or designer series paper.

Here is the first purse I made using the Comfort Cafe DSP.  It's accented with Soft Suede and Summer Starfruit card stocks.

And here is the purse with a coordinating Post-It Note holder.

When we had our Chalk-a-holics meeting last Friday, one of the projects we made was this purse.  Everyone's turned out so cute - but I forgot to get pictures of the other ones!

But I did take pictures of the one I made.
For this one I used the Natural Composition Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I love this paper!  It has glossy, raised patterns printed on heavy-weight natural paper.  This purse was accented with Chocolate Chip and Brushed Gold card stocks.  I also used an Antique Brad in the center of the front.  It looks like a "real" purse, doesn't it?

I got this pattern from my friend Madeline Morcelo at Ink4U...The Studio!  I don't know if this tutorial is available any longer, but if it is, I would highly recommend getting it.  These are just too cute for words!

Until next time...
