Papillon Potpourri

This is me lately...

Do you know the feeling?  Whew - what a June!  I'm actually hoping that July will be a little cooler!  But this is great weather for doing things inside in the air conditioning - like stamping!

Today's cards feature the new Papillon Potpourri stamp set.   I love butterflies, don't you?  Seems like I don't see as many around as I used to, but then again, I don't spend as much time outdoors as I did when I was a kid and had all day to look for them.

The first card was my design made using some of our new products.  I love how it turned out!  The butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri stamp set are stamped in Old Olive ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock.  They are punched out with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly Punch.  I love how easy that is to stamp and punch them out - no "fussy cutting" required!
The congratulations is from the Layered Labels stamp set, stamped with Early Espresso ink also on Crumb Cake cardstock and cut out using the Apothecary Accents Framelits.  The Tangerine Tango cardstock was embossed using the new Argyle Folder Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I love the look of this embossing folder!  The butterflies were accented with Basic Pearls and the saying has a couple of 3/16" Metallic Brads on the sides for a little pop.

Here are some more cards made with this beautiful stamp set.

This was CASEd from Wendy Weixler's blog.  I love the bright colors!
(Did you notice another new embossing folder on this one? - the Fancy Fan Folder TIEF)

This card was CASEd from Lee Conroy.
The one below is the same layout, but with a different color combination.
(And ANOTHER new embossing folder - the Chevron Folder TIEF!)

So if you don't have time to look for butterflies (or the inclination to endure the heat), you can stamp your own!  I hope that you're staying cool - it's even too hot to enjoy our pool much!  (But we do what we can...)

 Until next time...
