Have you seen Push Pops around? If you're a Pinterest addict, I'm sure you've seen them. I didn't have any idea what they were until a group that I'm part of did a bulk buy on the containers. Of course, I had to get some.
Of course, just because I had the containers didn't mean I used them right away. (I'm sure that NEVER happens to you, right?) But I decided to make some up and give them to my roommates when we went to Lansing recently for the Stampin' Up! Regional (more on that in a future posting).
So here's what they looked like:
I typed up the little saying to go on the outside, punched it with the Scallop Oval Punch and stamped a leaf from French Foliage on it. I tied Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Scallop Dots Ribbon around the base and used Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine to attach the saying. The top image comes from the Mixed Medley stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. It's stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla card stock.
Don't they look festive? It's the mini M&M's on top! (I love my friends - I even share my M&M's with them!)
Inside each Push Pop are layers of mini brownies, mini chocolate chip cupcakes, chocolate frosting, vanilla frosting, and mini M&M's. I hauled mine all the way to Lansing and back before eating it a few days later. It was actually quite good! I hope the other girls enjoyed theirs as much as I did. And the container can just be washed out and re-used over and over.
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had too much to eat and it was all wonderful. How's a girl supposed to lose any weight with all of these yummy foods around? In fact, I think I'm hungry for a little snack right now...
Until next time...
