Time to Get Your Mittens Out!

Up here in the "mitten state", we've finally had weather where we need to wear our mittens.  That's rather unusual for us, so I know we'll be paying for it at the end of winter.  Oh, well.

But I have some adorable samples to show you today that use the Make a Mitten stamp set from the Holiday Catalog and the coordinating Mitten Builder Punch.  You don't need cold weather to make use of these!

This is a tri-fold card card that I made.  It uses the Be of Good Cheer designer series paper (which is on sale through this Wednesday!).  The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, and Very Vanilla.  I also used the 1/4" Sweater Trim from the Holiday Catalog.  The Merry Christmas comes from More Merry Messages.

The next couple of cards were ones that I saw at my friend's house.  We had gone to the Stampin' Up! Lansing Regional a couple of weeks ago, so I think a lot of the cards you will be seeing in the next few weeks will be from there.  I don't always know the creator of the card, but I can usually figure out what was used to make the cards.  So if you have any questions, just shoot me an e-mail.

I love how the mittens are "holding" the mug of hot cocoa.  It reminds me of when I was a little kid and came in from playing in the snow.  (Although I'm pretty sure my mom made us take our mittens off before we had any hot cocoa.)

I love the multiple colors on the mittens on this card.  So cute!

So even if you aren't living in a place where mittens are part of your regular winter wear, you can use them in your stamping and scrapping projects for a cute touch!

Stay warm!  Until next time...
