Last month we were playing around with this stamp and various techniques when we tried the "Black Magic" technique. It's really simple. You stamp your image using Whisper White Craft Ink, let it dry, and then color with colored pencils. That's it. Simple, but it makes the card a "wow"!
So I decided to make this card for a swap I'm in:
Do you like it? My camera wasn't cooperating to get a very good picture, but I think you can get the general idea. I colored each flower with a base color and then went back with a darker color to add some depth.
SUPPLIES USED:
STAMPS: Wildflower Meadow and Teeny Tiny Wishes
INK: Whisper White Craft Ink, Black StazOn
CARD STOCK: Basic Black, Tangerine Tango, Gumball Green, and Vellum card stock
ACCESSORIES: Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals.
NON STAMPIN' UP!: Colored pencils, gel pen.
Let me know what you think! Until next time...
