I frequently get questions from fellow stampers wanting to know what stamp sets would be best for sympathy cards. Honestly the answer is pretty much any of them. It's all in the colors you choose and having a good sentiment.
Here is a perfect example using the
Field Flowers stamp set. The first few cards are ones that I've posted before. You can also see other samples

As you can see, these are bright and cheerful cards.
But if you need to make a sympathy card, just choosing some more muted colors and adding an appropriate greeting makes a world of difference.
The sentiment I used here is from
So Sorry. This is very versatile stamp set whenever you need to send an apology, a thinking of you, a times are tough, or sorry for your loss/illness card.
So for those times when you need this kind of card, look at what you have, make your colors subdued, and add a sentiment. The recipient of your card will be touched by your thoughtfulness.
