New Catalog Open House Projects

For those of you who couldn't make it to my New Catalog Open house last Saturday, I have the Make-n-Take projects to show you.

There are a few things that I usually try to include in my Open House projects. I like to use new stamp sets or accessories if possible, I try to have at least two card projects, and I like to have a new color chart for the new In-Colors. I covered all three this year!

This first card is made with the Delicate Doilies stamp set, Flirtatious Specialty DSP, and the Perfect Pennants Bigz L Die.

The second project uses the My Friend stamp set and Pocketful of Posies DSP.
And here is the Color Chart that everyone made. It includes last years In-Colors (which are still good for another year) and the new In-Colors for this year. That way everyone has at least a small sample of the colors.
I learned that I had better include the color chart every year. One year I forgot it, and let me tell you, I heard about it!

One other standard at my open houses is offering my retired card fronts for sale. These include card fronts that I've swapped at Convention, Stampin' Up! Regionals, group meetings -- basically any time stampers get together! But I have so many that once the stamps retire, there's no way I could use up all of the card fronts. So this is a great way to share them!

This year Webster decided to offer his assistance in choosing which cards he thought Val should pick.
Here he's basically laying in the box on top of the cards!
Before he got down, he decided to check out the last container. What a goofy cat!
I'm sorry if you couldn't make it to my open house, but if you still want to get a new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog, just contact me and we can make arrangements to get one to you. If you book a workshop, you can get your catalog for FREE! Contact me now while I still have spots available on my calendar!

Until next time...
