Creative Elements cards and FREE Big Shot Offer Still Available

I have fallen in love with the Creative Elements stamp set in the Idea Book & Catalog (pg. 137).  It's one of Shelli's Signature Collection, which are items that reflect Shelli Gardner's personal style.  You can spot chose items because of the little heart symbol next to them in the catalog.

I saw the original design of this card on Split Coast Stampers.  I liked it so much that I did my best to duplicate it, although I changed things up a bit.  The colors are Wisteria Wonder, Concord Crush,  Rich Razzleberry, and Old Olive.  The Hello, Doily background stamp was also used on this card.  It just seems to go so well with this stamp set.

This card was CASE-d from Debra Daam.  In fact, I made it at her house.  It uses a technique called "Emboss Resist".  Believe it or not, this is stamped on plain Very Vanilla cardstock.  We're going to make this at the November Chalk-a-holics meeting next Friday.  I'd love to have you join us!  If you're thinking about joining Stampin' Up! and my Chalk-a-holics group, you can come to a meeting to get a taste of what it's like.  Just contact me for more information.  (P.S.  The special offer for a FREE Big Shot when you join SU! has been extended through next Friday, November 11th, so you still have time to take advantage of that!)

Here's Webster demanding some attention from me.  He's still adjusting to having Bella Rose around (they haven't made "friends" yet, but the cats sort of tolerate having her around).  I was in my stamp room working on some things and he just hopped up on the counter and plopped down right in the middle of what I was doing.  Do you think I got the hint?  Goofy cat...

I'm still feeling a bit under the weather, but getting better.  I'll be back soon, but until then...
