Happy Birthday, Honey - and Treat Jar

Today is my hubby's birthday and we went out to dinner last night to celebrate. He is getting a "big" combined gift for his birthday, anniversary, and Christmas - but not until later. But I still wanted to give him a little something for his celebration, so I made him a "treat jar".

The letters were cut from our Decor Elements sheets (Basic Gray and White) using the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits dies. I made the letters look sort of 3-D by cutting them from white first and putting on the jar, then adding the gray letters onto the top and just off-setting them a little bit. The first picture shows some of them done with a couple of the letters plain white...

...and this picture shows the jar with all the letters completed.

One of Jerry's favorite candies is Nonpariels. We jokingly call them "Dom Perignons" because Jerry can't always remember the right name. He called them Dom Perignons once and the name stuck!
Here he is with his jar of goodies! We were so stuffed from dinner and cake last night that none of them got eaten, but I'm sure we'll be into them soon!

Happy birthday, honey! Hope you enjoy your treats! Smiley from millan.net Smiley from millan.net Smiley from millan.net
