Spider Web Embossing Folder

I'm not a spider lover. In fact, they creep me out (no pun intended). So I wasn't really excited when I saw the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in the Holiday Mini Catalog. A spider web? Really?

But I have to admit that I am seeing some very cute ideas done with this folder. And this punched spider below just looks like he needs a hug, doesn't he?
Diane Kipp made this card with the punched spider. I don't think the picture does him justice. He's pretty cute (and you know how I feel about spiders!).

This is another clever idea. I can't recall off-hand who made this, but it was a swap at the Tickled Ink meeting last month. The Basic Black cardstock was put through the Spider Web Embossing Folder, then wrapped around a Hershey's candy bar and the ends were crimped. She also sprayed the top of the cardstock with Smooch Spritz. Such a cute idea for a little gift for someone!
