Wonderful day and Tabletop Home Decorating Ideas

I had a wonderful day yesterday! I was able to go to Jackson, MI, and spend the day with my upline, Janet Wakeland, and 90 other stampers for an all day seminar. We swapped, ate chocolate, shared ideas, talked, saw a wonderful demonstration on the Distressing Kit, and overall had lots of fun! I have some pictures to share, but I need to get them off my camera first! So hang on, and I'll post them later.

In the meantime, here are a few ideas for tabletop decorations that were shared at Convention. These ideas were presented by Brent Steele.

This one is our new Decor Accents "Design-a-House" (see pg. 37 in the Holiday Mini Catalog). It's only $5.95 and can be decorated any way you want! Brent spray-painted this one black and while the paint was still wet, sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. It's really got the shimmer and glitz going!

These pumpkins were painted white and then had some "Spooky Things" Decor Elements added (pg. 8 in the Holiday Mini) along with the Black Flourish Designer Jewels and then loosely tied together with some black ribbon. Very classy! You can also see some luminaries in the upper right-hand corner made with more of the Decor Elements from the same package. And no, they don't have a "real" candle in them - that's where those electric candles really come in handy!

"Spooky" tree with lots of little embellishments and some close-ups below. This adorable little accent is made with our brand-new Candy Wrapper Bigz L Die! These are just too cute for words and just great for putting a little surprise inside. Hmmm.... just about the right size for a little chocolate treat for someone special. Know anyone who loves chocolate? I'm sure they would LOVE to get a little gift like this! Smiley from millan.net
