Here's a picture of those of us who were able to make it - and we're each holding the card that we brought to swap. That way we can put the card to the creator (because sometimes it's hard to put a name to a face - at least I know I have that problem)!

First is Lisa Gray's card made with the Simply Soft hostess set. (Have you checked out Stampin' Up!'s new hostess plan? Now you have the opportunity to get ANY of the exclusive hostess sets no matter how much your party total is! Contact me for more details!) I love the soft look of her card and the layers. I think it's all the layers on this card that really make it stand out. The flowers are watercolored and then covered with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Gotta love the bling!

Judi Cayton's card made with the adorable Snow Much Fun stamp set. Not only did she watercolor the image, but she added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter for a little extra touch. Plus note how she put just a small strip of DSP behind the Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon on the left. It really makes it stand out. Plus the polka dots and stripes combination is just so much fun!

Laura Barto's card using the Delicate Doilies stamp set. I love how she cut out a half circle in the top of the Wild Wasabi, making a cool-opening card. The little ribbon accents on the strip at the bottom add a soft, feminine touch to this card.

Carmen Ramirez's card made with the new Easy Events stamp set. This is one of the stamp sets that we got FREE at Convention. The duck is watercolored with yellow dye ink and some shimmer paint to give it just a subtle shimmer. I love the bright color combination on this card!

And last is my card swap made with some Big Shot items including Blossom Party Originals Die and Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impression Embossing Folder. The colors are Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I made a similar card and posted it a few weeks ago HERE. I just changed up the colors for this swap.
I finally located the original creator of this beautiful card. I knew I had saved the posting someplace, but I couldn't find it when I posted this card originally. It came from Creations by Patti and the link with instructions is HERE.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing the cards we swapped at Convention and have been inspired by them. Until next time...
