Last week we had a Chalk-a-holics meeting. Since the Gerbera daisies have been so popular, all of the ladies who came were able to one. I still love every one of these that I see - they are so pretty! Here are just a few that were made at the meeting:
We also made a fancy folds card. I totally CASE-d this from someone, but I can't remember who right off-hand. If it was you, please let me know so I can give you credit! I've seen a lot of different cards with this type of stair-step fold, but I just loved the look of this so I copied it exactly as the one I saw.
When the girls saw the bookmarks that I had on my desk from the Big Shot blog hop, they all decided that they wanted to make one of those too. Who am I to say no? Both the bookmark and the card are made with the Just Believe stamp set. That's a set I got free at Convention last year. I can't wait to see our free stamps this year!
So here are all the projects that we made.
Would you like to join us for these meetings and make projects like this? I would love to have you as a member of the Chalk-a-holics group! We always have a lot of fun at our meetings, stamping, talking, laughing, and usually sharing some yummy snacks. (What is stamping without some food, right? You just have to be careful not to get it on the card stock.) If you're interested, contact me and we can chat. Also, anyone who joins Stampin' Up! in June will receive eight new 2011-2012 catalogs in addition to the ones that usually come in the starter kit! I love Stampin' Up! and what it's allowed me to do. I'd love to share that fun with you too!
Don't forget to check out my Flag Day Giveaway posting and leave me a comment for your chance to win some blog candy! You have through June 17th to enter!
Until next time...
